Shoe Crew Challenge

General Info

  • Quarterly 12-week body transformation challenge in which contestants receive all the guidance, help, and tools necessary to be successful in reaching their fat loss goals
  • Challengers compete to lose the greatest relative percentage body fat
  • Winner receives free workout gear (apparel, gym bag, etc.)
  • Maximum of 12 challengers may participate during each challenge 
  • Spring 2012 Challenge runs April 9, 2012 through June 30, 2012

Training Days & Times

  • Twenty-one (21) small group sessions (7x/month) - Challengers are free to choose whichever small group* sessions are most convenient and preferable.  We advise challengers to be as consistent as possible in the frequency of their in-studio workouts (~2x/week).  The small group schedule and descriptions are available here.
  • Three (3) individual training sessions (1x/month) - Challengers may choose the days and times that work best with their schedules* as long as a trainer is available.
  • Unlimited access (during open hours) to in-studio cardio machines to complete cardio homework if needed. However, additional strength homework must be completed outside of the studio.

*All scheduling is done through our online scheduling tool: Mind Body Online.  Once registered, an account and login will be created.

  • 1 abbreviated assessment (measurements, Q&A)
  • 21 small group sessions (7x/month, ~2x/week)
  • 3 individual training sessions (1x/month)
  • Strength/cardio homework and nutritional guidance as needed
  • Unlimited access to in-studio cardio equipment
  • Challengers may purchase extra sessions if desired, but must pay regular price

  • Individualized workouts based on your abilities and preferences
  • Support and guidance from a team of degreed and certified personal trainers and a registered dietician
  • Motivation and a sense of friendly competition by sweating alongside other challengers in small group sessions (Note: Not all small group participants will be Shoe Crew Challengers)

Clinics & Seminars

  • Kickoff/assessment meeting will be scheduled to ask any additional questions, and get familiar with the studio, equipment, and some of the trainers, and get measurements taken
  • Nutritional seminars will be organized as needed to offer some extra support for your Shoe Crew Challenge.  Remember, good nutrition is an integral part of any body transformation process!

Your Personal Trainer

With this program, challengers are invited and advised to work with every trainer, not just one. This type of team approach allows us to alternate trainers from session to session to keep your workouts fresh, all the while keeping your goals in mind. You'll have more ideas, more perspectives, and more partners helping you towards your fitness goals.
